Q:How many kg can a container hold?

A: Opting for a 20ft standard dry shipping container gets you a Payload value of up to 28,430kg, with its high cube partner offering 28,250kg. The maximum Payload of a 40ft container is 26,730kg, and a 40ftHC provides 26,590kg.

Q:What is check digit in container?

A: A check digit is used to detect errors in an intermodal shipping container number. The seventh digit of the container number also known as the check digit, is calculated off of the four letters and six digits of the container number.

Q:What is the use of dry container?

A: Dry containers are commonly used to transport electronics, textiles, machinery, consumer goods, furniture, automotive parts, building materials, and plastics.

Q:What is a standard shipping container?

A: A standard container is used to ship dry goods such as clothing, electronics and dry foods. They come in 10ft, 20ft, 40ft and 40ft high cube sizes.
